I feel it’s our responsibility to do good in the world #OprahGoals and that our acts of generosity, kindness and love have a definite impact on the fabric of humanity. So why (!!!), how could this trafficking be a thing I innocently thought. It still plagues me that in my hometown of all places, the FBI has declared #ATL to be among the worst cities in the country for human trafficking. In fact, Atlanta is the number one city with the highest Sex Economy Income at a staggering $290 million…Read More

It’s that time of year when McDonald’s rolls out the famous green Shamrock Shake. According to their website, it looks like they have revamped the St Patty’s Day treat by replacing regular vanilla ice cream with reduced fat and regular whipped cream with light. Bravo McDonalds.

Let’s face it, we all experience disappointment in our lives. How we manage disappointment can tell a lot about our defaults when things get rough. Sometimes the discomfort or pain it too much to manage and we want to check out. A quick and easy default for a lot of us is to use food as a coping tool. Good Day Atlanta invited me to the station to do a segment on how to organize the part of your house that looks like a hot mess. Lately yoga has been calling my name. It does that when I take too long of a break from it. My body craves it and says, okay, enough is enough please do some stretching, postures, and breathing! I've been riding my bike on the Atlanta Belt Line 1-2 times a week, which I love. I'm shocked that it's the end of June and I'm still able to exercise outdoors without passing out. The humidity has been super low this year and I'm loving it. I got addicted to that San Diego weather we had in May!Read More
I cleaned out the refrigerator from top to bottom yesterday and found about a tablespoon of homemade cacao butter I made during the holidays. This inspired me to create this Hazelnut Spread but you don't need it to make this. I tend to throw things in a blender, food processor, or bowl and just taste as I go along. The Nutella tasted better the next day after the flavors started to meld.Read More
